Change

It felt like most of last year (2020) was off to a quick start, and I imagine most had a similar story when everything came to screeching halt. We were asked to stay home, change our work flow and in general make conscious decisions about who you see or places you visit. Swift changes were made with every update and announcement from those above. Things seemed to get to their worst in the winter, like they mostly do with normal flu season but now with pandemic blanket wrapped around it. In the tail end of winter we saw the light, while there are mixed reviews of what to do or not to do being able to return to any sort of normalcy was arriving.

So now we are caught up to spring 2021, I feel a lot of companies really changed how they operated and even created new rolls to better understand their staff and make them feel appreciated.
With all of these new opportunities opening up I saw an acceleration of change, people that had never left their home town were eager to try something new and those that had been away from home started to come back. Most people benefit from life experience away from home, it can give an individual insight of how independent they can really be. Even in my line of work I said good bye to some faces that I had spent years with and yes I did wish them well with their new opportunities. With the progression of this timeline it meant we were able to welcome in new faces. I am constantly humbled with the freedom of being able to operate things differently and really feel like we were able to put together a team to help us get to new heights.

So now we are about to the end of this blog post, what have we learned, what has my point been? Even if others move on (and for good reason) have faith that you can pick up the pieces, rewrite the book, search for what you need, and collectively create new goals.

Cheers!
